Command of Marble Complex transitions back to Klamath National Forest at 7 a.m. Summit Fire 65% contained at 700 acres, Jacket Fire 96% contained at 46 acres.

Four new lightning-caused fires detected following additional thunderstorms on July 7. Baldy Fire contained at 0.6 acres, Four Corners Fire also reported.

Summit and Jacket fires combined into Marble Complex. Complex Interagency Incident Management Team assumes command at 6 p.m. Total of 17 lightning fires confirmed.

Red Flag Warning issued for Siskiyou and Klamath counties due to potential for additional thunderstorms with strong, gusty outflows. 14 total lightning fires now confirmed.
