Weather concerns include the possibility of afternoon showers and thunderstorms with gusty winds and lightning, but no measurable rainfall. Temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 80s with low relative humidity.

The fire has been challenging due to rugged terrain and dense vegetation, but the current response has been effective in containing the fire perimeter. Crews will continue working to secure the containment lines and monitor for any potential flare-ups.
