Vista Fire (CABDF)

Wildfire Status:

The Vista Fire, reported on July 7th, 2024, at approximately 9:51 AM in the San Bernardino National Forest, has burned around 2,936 acres and is currently 100% contained. The fire's management has been reverted to the San Bernardino National Forest after being overseen by California Interagency Incident Team 15. The area is now under continuous monitoring to ensure any residual risks are managed, particularly through December or until significant precipitation occurs.

In response to the fire, fire agencies have established evacuation protocols and ongoing road closures in the region. The San Bernardino County Sheriff and Fire Departments have employed a high-speed mass notification system to keep the public informed about potential dangers.
