Rattlesnake is the 2nd-largest wildfire this season in Washington, burning 22 miles east of Coulee Dam.

On September 1, 2025, the Rattlesnake Fire was reported on the Colville Reservation near Inchelium, WA. The fire - named Rattlesnake Fire- is burning in steep thick timber ground and grass sage steep within the old fire scar of the 2003 Rattlesnake Fire.
Northwest Complex Incident Management Team 7 assumed command at 0600 on September 5th, 2025.
