The Rowena Fire, which ignited on June 11, 2025, around 1:30 PM, is currently burning approximately three miles northwest of The Dalles, Oregon. As of the latest report, the fire has spread over 3,831 acres, with only 5% of its perimeter contained. Local firefighting resources were initially deployed to address the situation, and as the fire escalated, a Unified Command was established on June 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM, involving the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) Team 2 and the Oregon State Fire Marshal (OSFM) Green Team. A total of 484 personnel are actively engaged in firefighting efforts.
