Burdoin Fire - WACWC (WACWC)

Wildfire Status:

The Burdoin Fire, which ignited on July 18, 2025, at approximately 2:29 PM, is currently active in Klickitat County, Washington, along the Columbia River near Bingen and Lyle. As of the latest update on July 19, 2025, the fire has escalated to an estimated size of 1,276 acres, with no containment efforts having been successful thus far. The fire is being driven eastward by strong winds, posing a significant threat to the surrounding areas, including both sides of Highway 14.

Emergency response is being coordinated by a Type 3 Incident Management Team from Southeast Washington, led by Incident Commander Leonard Johnson.
