The Manderson Fire, currently burning north of Manderson, South Dakota, is reported to be 95% contained as of September 18, 2024. The fire, which has scorched approximately 2,075 acres since its ignition on September 12, remains under the management of Nevada Team 3, a Type 3 Incident Management Team.
