2024 - Point Fire (AZTNF)

Wildfire Status:

The Point Fire, a human-caused wildfire currently under investigation, is active approximately 5 miles northeast of New River, Arizona, near West Point Mountain. The fire has affected an area of 5,154 acres and is reported to be 100% contained. Firefighters are actively engaged in suppression efforts in rocky and difficult terrain, utilizing a total of 12 personnel and 6 engines. Although no smoke has been observed for several days, two engines remain assigned to monitor the situation closely.
