Homestead Complex (ORUPF)

Wildfire Status:

The Homestead Complex, a series of wildfires ignited by lightning on July 19, 2024, is currently active in southern Oregon, approximately thirty miles northeast of Glide. The complex includes several fires: Bullpup, Fuller Lake, Horse Heaven Creek, Lost Bucket, No Man, Reynolds Butte, and Salmon 33. As of the latest update, approximately 35% of the fire's perimeter has been contained. The Umpqua National Forest has taken command of the incident and will provide significant updates as necessary, following a transfer of command at 6 PM on October 9, 2024.

In response to the fire, firefighting agencies have been actively engaged in containment efforts. Firefighting resources have included personnel from local, state, and federal agencies, focusing on critical areas to prevent further spread.
