Iron Fire is the 4th-largest wildfire this season in Utah, burning within the perimeter near Eureka.

The Iron Fire is 1 mile northwest of Eureka in Juab County, Utah. The fire was reported late on the evening of Friday, June 19. The fire quickly grew in size and was estimated to be 1,000+ acres by the following morning, burning into Juab, Utah, and Toole counties. Great Basin Complex Incident Management Team 3 assumed command of the Iron Fire at 6:00AM on June 22, 2026. 

On Saturday, June 27, the same incident management team took over command of the Cherry Fire at 6:00AM and will be managing both the Iron and Cherry Fires.
