White Pine has burned 1,045 acres, burning 44 miles northeast of Lewiston.

Public and firefighter safety remain the top priority. Please respect area closures and exercise caution when recreating near the fire. It is important to note that burned area hazards such as falling trees, rolling rocks and loose soils may still be present after closures have been lifted.
Laird Park Campground is no longer being utilized for the firefighting effort and open to public use.

NFST 244 – Giant White Pine Trail is closed from the Giant White Pine Campground in its entirety.
NFST 228 – Is closed from the Giant White Pine Campground to the intersection with NFSR 377.
