Goat Fire (IDBOF)

Wildfire Status:

The Goat Fire, part of the West Mountain Fires, is currently active and has burned approximately 26,456 acres. Unfortunately, it remains at 0% containment as of the latest reports. The fire is being managed by the Rocky Mountain Complex Incident Management Team Three, under the leadership of Incident Commander Bill Waln. Alongside the Goat Fire, the Snag Fire and Dollar Fire are also significant, with the Snag Fire having burned 33,300 acres and being 27% contained, while the Dollar Fire has burned 4,360 acres and is 8% contained.

In response to the ongoing wildfires, a significant number of personnel, totaling 695, are actively engaged in firefighting efforts.
