Wildfire Status:

The Goat Fire, currently active in the Boise National Forest, has burned approximately 35,648 acres and is about 51% contained. The fire originated on August 5, 2024, likely due to natural causes, and remains a part of the Middle Fork Complex, which includes the Snag Fire, Nellie Fire, and Bulldog Fire.
