The Skeleton Fire, located approximately 11 miles north of Black Canyon City, Arizona, is currently 77% contained. Since its ignition on August 3, 2024, due to natural causes, the fire has burned approximately 24,034 acres. Fortunately, there have been no reported damages to structures, and the fire remains within its established perimeter, indicating a significant decrease in activity.
