Dragon Bravo Fire containment decreased from 26% to 13% after rapid expansion. Fire grew by over 25,000 acres over weekend, reaching 55,000+ acres. Southwest Area Complex Incident Management Team Two assumes command.

Highway 89A reopened to public traffic. Jacob Lake evacuation reduced from GO to READY status, allowing residents to return home. Kaibab Camper Village and Jacob Lake Inn now accessible.

North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park closed for remainder of 2025 season. All inner canyon corridor trails, campgrounds closed indefinitely due to ongoing fire risks and infrastructure damage.

Fire exhibited extreme volatile behavior with 500-acre expansion. Historic Grand Canyon Lodge and numerous historic cabins destroyed. 50-80 structures lost in North Rim developed area.

Chlorine gas leak from damaged North Rim water treatment facility. All firefighters evacuated from North Rim, hikers evacuated from inner canyon. Critical trails closed including North Kaibab and South Kaibab.
