Cottonwood Creek Fire (TXTXS)

Wildfire Status:

The Cottonwood Creek Fire, which ignited on March 12, 2025, in a pecan orchard near Richland Springs, Texas, has been declared 100% contained as of March 16th. The fire, which burned approximately 633 acres of grass and brush, was initially fueled by high winds and low humidity, leading to a rapid spread.
