Cram Fire (ORPRD)

Wildfire Status:

The Cram Fire, which is currently active, has spread to approximately 77,163 acres since it ignited on July 13, 2025. Located near Willowdale, Oregon, the fire is burning on private land protected by the Ashwood-Antelope Rangeland Fire Protection Association, as well as on land managed by the Prineville Bureau of Land Management. As of now, no percentage of the fire's perimeter is contained, and the incident is being managed under a unified command involving the Oregon State Fire Marshal's Green Team and the High Desert Type 3 Interagency Incident Management Team.

The response to the Cram Fire has mobilized a total of 573 personnel who are actively engaged in firefighting efforts. Significant challenges remain as the fire exhibits wind-driven runs and isolated torching, fueled by tall grass, brush, and timber. Firefighters are focused on establishing control lines and protecting structures in the vicinity while scouting for potential new control lines. Planned actions include securing areas around impacted residences and outbuildings.
