Wildfire Status:
The Wolf Fire, located about 3 miles northwest of Clints Well, was reported on the morning of April 29. Fire managers have treated approximately 10,000 acres of land on the fire, which was caused by a lightning strike. Currently, the fire has reached 100% containment, with a total personnel of 30 assigned to the incident. The significant events include the end of ignitions on May 10, the fire being held and secured, and resources being used for perimeter assessment and hazard tree removal.
The fire agencies involved, including the Coconino National Forest, are continuing to monitor and secure the fire perimeter.
