The Quail Springs Fire, located 14 miles south of St. George, Utah, on the Arizona Strip Field Office, was reported on July 13, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. The fire has burned 1,508 acres and is currently 80% contained. Resources including Type 6 engines, Type 3 engine, Type 2 crews, and a Type 3 incident team are working to suppress the fire.
